This policy explains what allowances and benefits elected members (councillors and the mayor) of the District Council of Yankalilla are entitled to receive. It covers fees, reimbursements, and support provided to help elected members do their job.
Elected members receive an annual allowance for their work on council. The amounts are set by the Remuneration Tribunal of South Australia and are reviewed regularly.
